We know that Poland may not seem to be an ideal holiday destination – but trust me, there is plenty to see here, especially in May: beautiful forests, architecture, cuisine, and art. On top of that, if you are hungry for some scientific events related to your favourite area of study (life sciences!), I would like to invite you to participate in the Xth Intercollegiate Biotechnology Symposium "Symbioza", aimed to bring together students, scientists and industry representatives, to share knowledge and research know-how. It will be held from May 12th to May 14th, 2023, in a hybrid form at the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw and will be broadcasted live. 
This year marks the 10th anniversary of our event. We want to make this year’s edition as successful as previous ones and we would be grateful if you passed this information to students and PhD candidates, who might be interested in participation. As in previous editions, participants will have the opportunity to present their research during oral and poster sessions, and listen to plenary lectures from keynote speakers. The best presentations/posters will be honoured with valuable prizes.
Registration is open until March 22nd, 2023.
The conference fee is PLN 150/EUR 35, which includes full participation in all scientific events of the Symposium, two warm meals (Saturday and Sunday), a participation certificate, a conference welcome pack, an electronic or a hard copy version of the book of abstracts, and an access to the integration event.
Online participation is possible only for passive participants. In this case, the conference fee is PLN 50/EUR 12, and includes access to live transmission from all the scientific events of the Symposium, electronic version of the book of abstracts, and certificate of online participation.
